Portmans Hits The Right Notes

This weekend I went for (yet another) shopping trip to the city with one of my good friends.  I find that the city is always a fantastic place to be inspired by fashion; both in shops as well as by ‘people watching’ and it never fails to make an impact on me.  However, the shop which impressed and surprised me the most (in a good way) this time was Portmans.
This store which, before this season, I wouldn’t even have looked at twice has picked up its game and has provided to us a mix of delicate laces, ruffles and frills juxtaposed against hard leathers, tailoring and military inspired clothing.  This collection has Blown. Me. Away.
Featuring an eclectic mix of romantic frills, bohemian military inspired jackets and polished lady-like aesthetics, the stunning new collection is hard to top. The play on textures is pivotal in this collection and sees shearing, leather and thick knits layered over fine, sheer fabrics and floral prints in warm nude hues’ http://www.portmans.com.au/

Portmans has taken every trend from this season and has hit the nail on the head in every instance.
If you haven’t seen the new range in store, go immediately.
Yours Fashionably,
Nat xo
