Recipe for the Perfect Wedge (shoe not potato)

Ingredients
2 cups of courage- you CAN embrace this revived style of shoe- do not be afraid of looking like you mum 30 *mumbles* years ago.  The styles and embellishments have changed dramatically since then and wedges are now more sleek and stylish.  Have no fear, you WILL look amazing!
3 tablespoons of leather- please do not buy pleather shoes, they make your feet smell, they do not mould around your foot (i.e. you get more blisters) and they do not last half as long.
Spend a bit more- keep your shoes for a lifetime… and don’t compromise the smell of your feet.
500mL of sensibility- if you cannot walk in them do not buy them because inevitably you will not wear them- and beautiful shoes deserve to be worn!  Thankfully, wedges are notoriously easy to walk in because they give you much more support than stilettos do, and because they have platforms, the pressure isn’t entirely at the ball of your feet.
A sprinkle of seasoning- what’s in this season?  Everything and anything- the bolder the better!  But remember, if you choose a patterned, colourful, crazy wedge; keep the rest of your outfit toned down.  If you don’t want to wear a shoe which is too shocking, a little black bootie (see Tony Bianco’s ‘Brixton’ below) is perfect with any outfit you wear.                                                                                                                                              Optional to serve- 1 tall boyfriend.  Self explanatory.                                                                         Method
Almost everyone this season is embracing the wedge- from Tony Bianco to Louis Vuitton it seems like everyone is getting in on this trend- my pick for some exceptional, unique choices? http://www.solestruck.com/.
WALLETS BEWARE- unless your personal mantra is ‘I can’t afford to eat- but I LOOK fantastic'.
Go on- spoil yourself with, let’s face it- the perfect shoe.

Yours Fashionably,
Nat xo
