How To Run In Heels: Cue Fantastic Fashion

Every time I wear something by Cue to work or to a social engagement, it is expected that there will be a ‘Wow! That dress/skirt/blazer is gorgeous, where did you get it from?’ which is quickly followed by a smug ‘Oh, on sale at Cue’ which will inevitably lead to a look of complete shock and ‘Omg, I never thought that Cue had clothes like that’.

Now I’m not entirely sure where this perception comes from, however I do think that Cue has some ah-mazing pieces that any woman would love in her wardrobe. I believe people get confused when they think that they need to wear Cue from head to toe- and who wants to do that? The key is to mix the more tailored pieces with something funky, something with an edge. Wear a tailored skirt with a sequined jacket. Wear a structured blazer with a floaty skirt. Mix it up.

Now, in saying that you can’t wear Cue from head to toe (unless you work in a very corporate industry such as law, accounting etc) the new collaboration with designer Dion Lee is perfection and is something I would wear head to toe any day of the week. With a fantastic mix of tailoring, pops of colour and delicious textures this is collection that takes my breath away and makes me want more. Check out the campaign below.

I might just add that the pieces are quite expensive- say $450 for a blazer, HOWEVER compared to the usual price of $1200 for a Dion Lee jacket, you can pick up a good buy which you will have for the rest of your life.
